The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which tracks and monitors anti-Semitic incidents in the United States recorded 1,879 anti-Semitic incidents in 2018 and 1,986 in 2017, the third and second highest number of incidents in a calendar year respectively since recording began 40 years ago.

The 2017-2018 numbers on average are 85% higher than the average annual incidents between 2009-2016 under President Obama.

The ADL also reported an 86% increase in anti-Semitic incidents when comparing the first three months of 2017 compared to the first three months of 2016 (541 incidents in 2017 compared to 291 in 2016).

Anti-Semitic incidents increased by 34% from 2015 to 2016, but much of this increase can be attributed to a spike in November and December of 2016.
