$8 Million Paid to Trump Businesses By His Own Campaign

The Trump campaign has paid more than $8 million to Trump businesses, including $1 million for the campaign to rent office space in Trump Towers in New York City, $6 million for use of Trump’s plane, and more than $400k for use of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, FL.

During the first year of his campaign, he spent on average half a million dollars a month at his own companies.”

In an interview with Fortune in 2000, Trump stated “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it”.
