Using The Presidential Inauguration Date As A Starting Point, The S&P 500 Stock Index Was Up 24% After Trump’s First Year; Up 35% After Obama’s First Year

Using the Presidential inauguration date as the beginning of the year, The S&P Stock Index rose 24% during President Trump’s first year in office, and it rose 35% during President Obama’s first year in office.

The Morningstar U.S. Market Index rose 24% during President Trump’s first year and rose 36% under Obama’s first year.
