Trump Made 8,158 False Or Misleading Claims Over His First 2 Full Years As President, Averaging 16.5 False Claims Per Day In Year 2

According to the Washington Post fact checking team which regularly analyzes statements made by President Trump, as of August 1st “President Trump has made 4,229 false or misleading claims in 558 days.”  After his first full two years (730 days) he had made 8,158 false or misleading claims.

The president averaged nearly 5.9 false or misleading claims a day in his first year in office. But he hit nearly 16.5 a day in his second year.”
