Senior White House Staff Members Used Private Email Servers Hosted By Republican National Committee

In Flip Flops, Transparency   Last Updated: June 21, 2017

Until at least Wednesday January 25 2017, senior White House staff members were using private email servers managed through the Republican National Committee (The official political organization of the Republican Party) at rnchq.org.

Staf members include Kellyanne Conway, Jared Kushner, Sean Spicer and Steve Bannon.

These email accounts for Bannon, Kushner, and Conway have since been deleted from the rnchq.org system.

Use of a private email server is technically not illegal to use for government business as long as all communications are forwarded to an appropriate government email system within 20 days.
