Evidence Compilied By FBI And Homeland Security Indicates Russia Hacked “Networks And Endpoints” Connected To 2016 Presidential Election Systems

President Obama issued sanctions against Russia in December 2016 after the FBI and Homeland Security found evidence that “Russian civilian and military intelligence Services (RIS) [were able] to compromise and exploit networks and endpoints associated with the U.S. election, as well as a range of U.S. Government, political, and private sector entities.”
