Twitter Bans Ads From “Russia Today/RT” And “Sputnik”, Two Russian State Media Agencies Because Of Influencing The 2016 Presidential Election

A pair of Russian state media organizations will no longer be able to advertise on Twitter, the company said Thursday — a direct result of their role in Russian interference in the 2016 election.”

The two organizations are Russia Today (also known as RT) and Sputnik.  Both are owned by the Russian Government.
