"The attorney general sent a four-page letter to Congress on Sunday [March 24, 2019], saying Mueller 'did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.'" Despite Barr's summary and stance on the report, the report itself does provide information that suggests obstruction of justice and collusion with Russia possibly and/or likely occurred:

Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations,” Mueller wrote. “The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General’s recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony.”

Mueller, however, refrained from recommending prosecution, saying that there were “difficult [legal] issues that would need to be resolved,” in order to reach a conclusion that the crime of obstruction of justice was committed by Trump.

The report, which is over 300 pages long, was released but heavily redacted.  An ongoing battle to release an unredacted version was still underway as of May 2019.  The President has invoked executive privilege to prohibit the release of the full unredacted document. The investigation has resulted in indictments of 34 people.  “Among them are five former Trump officials, all of whom have pleaded guilty to criminal charges, and 26 Russian nationals.” [post_title] => FBI Concludes "Mueller" Investigation Into Trump Campaign And Submits Report To Attorney General; Report Suggests Collusion With Russia And/Or Obstruction Of Justice Very Possible; AG Finds Insufficient Evidence And Recommends No New Indictments [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => closed [ping_status] => closed [post_password] => [post_name] => fbi-concludes-investigation-into-trump-campaign-collusion-with-russia-full-report-to-be-released-in-mid-april-no-new-indictments-recommended [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2019-05-19 12:59:10 [post_modified_gmt] => 2019-05-19 12:59:10 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => http://factualuprising.com/?p=2778 [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => post [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [filter] => raw ) [1] => WP_Post Object ( [ID] => 2745 [post_author] => 1 [post_date] => 2019-02-03 16:05:21 [post_date_gmt] => 2019-02-03 16:05:21 [post_content] => Roger Stone, an adviser to Trump during his Presidential campaign, was indicted and arrested by the FBI for charges related to the FBI investigation into Trump campaign collusion with Russia during the 2016 Presidential election.  Stone "was charged with seven criminal counts including obstruction of an official proceeding, witness tampering and making false statements." She said she had unprotected sex with Trump 'many dozens of times.'” "McDougal's comments came just days after she filed a lawsuit against American Media Inc., the publisher of The National Enquirer, to seek an end to a contract with the company that she said had sold away her rights to tell her story under false circumstances." "Longtime Donald Trump attorney Michael Cohen secretly taped a conversation with the then-GOP presidential nominee about whether to purchase the rights to Playboy centerfold Karen McDougal’s account of her alleged extramarital affair with Trump, according to three people familiar with the conversation."

The recording was made in secret and was siezed by FBI officials investigating Cohen for other bank and election law related crimes.

George Papadopoulos plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his connections with Russia:

Papadopoulos’s plea agreement, signed earlier this month and unsealed Monday, described his extensive efforts to try to broker connections with Russian officials and arrange a meeting between them and the Trump campaign. Emails show that his offers were sometimes looked at warily, though more-senior campaign officials at least entertained them.

"Manafort and longtime business partner Rick Gates, meanwhile, were charged in a 12-count indictment with conspiracy to launder money, making false statements and other charges in connection with their work advising a Russia-friendly political party in Ukraine." "Apparent Russian agents began reaching out to Donald Trump's presidential campaign as early as March 2016, the Justice Department established in documents released Monday, with appeals for partnership and offers of help including "dirt" on Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton."   Gates plead guilty to conspiracy and lying to investigators on Friday February 23, 2017, and hours later Manafort was additionally charged with "conspiracy, money-laundering, being an unregistered agent for a foreign entity and making false statements."   The FBI confirmed in March of 2017 that it was investigating Russian involvement in the Presidential election. Robert Mueller took over the FBI after Trump fired former director James Comey because of that investigation. FBI agents raided Manafort's home in July 2017. The FBI also obtained authorization to monitor Carter Page, a Former Trump campaign adviser and investment banker in Moscow.   [post_title] => FBI Indicts Former Trump Policy Adviser George Papadopoulos (Plead Guilty To Lying To FBI About Russian Connections), Former Trump Campaign Adviser Rick Gates (Plead Guilty To Conspiracy, Making False Statements To FBI), And Former Campaign Manager Paul Manafort (Charges Related To Work With Pro-Russia Group In Ukraine) [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => closed [ping_status] => closed [post_password] => [post_name] => fbi-director-mueller-reveals-first-three-indictments-investigation-russian-election-influence-includes-former-trump-policy-adviser-george-papadopoulos-former-campaign-manager-paul-manafor [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2018-02-24 13:54:53 [post_modified_gmt] => 2018-02-24 13:54:53 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => http://factualuprising.com/?p=2412 [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => post [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [filter] => raw ) [8] => WP_Post Object ( [ID] => 1774 [post_author] => 1 [post_date] => 2017-03-25 14:51:39 [post_date_gmt] => 2017-03-25 14:51:39 [post_content] => "FBI Director James Comey on Monday [March 20 2017] confirmed for the first time that the bureau is investigating possible ties between Republican Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia as Moscow sought to influence the 2016 U.S. election."
